EFL Resources for beginners

Does anybody know where I can get hold of good topic-based lesson plans e.g. 'at the restaurant' for beginners learning EFL? Either a book or resources on the internet would be useful. I want to focus on roleplays, simulations etc. for each given scenario lesson by lesson.

A textbook. A good one. I can't remember whether it's CUP, OUP, or Heinneman.
