At my friend's vs. At my friend's house/apartment etc.

Hello! Is there any difference between these phrases: at my friend's and at my friend's house?

For instance, in the sentence: Our next meeting's going to be great fun because we're planning to spend the whole night at my friend's. Should I add 'apartment/place/flat/house or whatever here?
