Add another clause to each of the sentences

Im stuck on my homework-
someone please help-

add another clause to each of the sentences; be sure that the new sentence makes sence and that its verbs are in a coreect sequence.

1.On the day of the playoff game, it rained hard for six hours.
2.The promoters had sold only ten of the tickets to the rock concert.
