how i can build my own dictionary

hi every one ......this is the first time that i enter this site .....i want to improve my language with you. i have a quisition .... how i can build my own dictionary?...and are there a spscific number of words i have to memorize every day.and from where i take them. ....please i want your advices......and thank you

There is no specific number of words/day. Take as many as you like, and take them from your reading and viewing of popular media like newspapers, magazines, television shows, and current movies. Most importantly, try use them, even if you have to write emails to yourself.

I think you should write down every word you find interesting or related to your learning/working activities and by the end of each week you review their meanings and try to use them whenever you get the chance.

another way:

buy books with a large margin around the text, write there the definitions/translations and when finished with the book, read again all new words

reading fiction is the best way to enrich your vocabulary
